Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Marcel Jereb s.p. ("we", "our", "us"), the developer of Prelens, handles information in connection with:

• The Prelens iOS application, and
• The Prelens website at prelens.app.

We believe privacy is a fundamental right. We collect no more data than is strictly necessary to operate our services, and we never sell your data to third parties.

Specifically, the Prelens app:

• Does not collect or transmit personal information
• Does not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs
• Does not require an account or sign-in
• Does not access your contacts, location, or any other sensitive data beyond what is required for core app functionality (camera access for live preview, camera roll for applying presets)
• Does not send any data to our servers or to third parties

All processing happens entirely on your device. Camera data used for filter preview is never stored or transmitted.

App Store

The Prelens app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect usage and diagnostic data in accordance with Apple's own Privacy Policy. We do not receive any personally identifiable information from Apple beyond what Apple publicly shares with developers (e.g., aggregated download counts).

The Prelens website at prelens.app offers an optional newsletter signup. This is the only form of data collection on our website.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — You may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — You may request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to restriction — You may ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability — You may request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to withdraw consent — You may withdraw consent to email marketing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
• Right to lodge a complaint — You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority. In Slovenia, this is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Data may only be shared with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers acting as data processors on our behalf (e.g., email delivery infrastructure), bound by data processing agreements and GDPR obligations.
• Legal requirements — if required to do so by applicable law or a valid legal order.
